So Games Workshop has released a collection of digital books and what-nots online through i tunes and such.

I think it's great that they are making a jump to digital and getting up to date with stuff, but i looked at the price and the necron codex is 20 euros.
I dont think a lot of people who just spend 30 to 50 dollars on a book are going to turn around to spend it again on a digital version.
It would be cool if we could get a digital version for free after buying the paper version.
anyway.
my thoughts...
Anyone else have any on the subject?

"Can we stop saying CCSM and CSM to just say CSM and SM? I mean really, don't we already know they have a codex? Plus my colon key is broken."

I'm personally glad they went digital. Also, E-books is a nice way for me to avoid the costs of the hardcover codex's while still collecting all the common codex's.

Even without buying it, though, I already know that the electronic copy isn't going to be updated by FAQ's, so you'll still have to download those too and switch back and forth. At least with a physical copy you can pencil in the FAQ changes.

B) they are NOT cheaper than the hardbacks by much

I just wish it wasn't an Apple exclusive. They should give you a format option the same way Black Library handles their digital copies.

@A Interesting, good to know. Do they get WD updates, as well? Like Sisters of Battle and such?

In the multiple discussions on this topic before, people did say their digital copies were updated with FAQ and errata issues.
