After seeing the results on here from using the ultrasonic cleaners to strip minis i am on the brink of purchasing one. However, unless i skipped over it in the many threads i have seen on here, i dont recall what was used in the cleaner for the liquid

Any answers to this seemingly easy question?

I use normal strippers in mine - simple green for most minis, and super clean for really tough ones.

best of luck!

Deionized (or distilled) water for 99% of things.

Occasionally I will add a little non-foaming degreasing agent like Simple Green.

Very rarely (and with certain knowledge of the dangers) I might use other chemicals like ethyl alcohol or an alkaline chemical...but you are mixing the components for a fuel-air explosion then, so you have to be cautious.

A mate in my chemistry lab used to use hexane. Simple green works well though.

I use a 50/50 mix of tap water and fairy power spray (simple green would be the north american equivalent). Works wonders.
