For my new Tau army, I really don't want to use the basic bases, for my Necrons I have resin bases for the whole army. I found these:

Any feedback on them? They seem cool, anyone know any others that would fit well with Tau?

I've got one of the Secret Weapon bases (not that one) and they're very nice, much better than the ones I got before, can't remember the brand of those though.

These are AFAIK the best fitting resin bases for Tau.
Only alternative are these (actually Eldar) bases:

Personally, I am waiting until Warmill makes fitting Acrylic bases. They seem to be in the works. Something similar to this:

BTW I place Kroot on jungle bases by Basicks and Micro Art.

Oh, very nice! Only issue I've had from Secret Weapon's Alien bases is that some models it's hard to get them to glue right since the bases aren't fully flat, so really have pick wisely!

On a side note... love my Necron's but HATE them as well, they always seem to break very easily at their torso (immortals and warriors) or some other way =(
