I have 20 blood letters and I want to use them. I use to use them as lesser daemons back in 5th ed. That was amazing! I have 2 defilers and have converted 1 into a ADL+Quad Gun/Icarus LC. So the 2nd defiler I will try to convert that into a Soul Grinder with phlemge bombardment or what ever gives it sky fire. I also have a daemon prince with an axe so I want to proxy him as a blood thirster since both have wings and an axe and share the same base size. I have never played with true daemons so I want to make a list to test them out as allies and potentially make them my fantasy army since chaos demons use the same models in both 40k and fantasy right?

Would like criticism on how to make the list stronger over all. I did not buy Chaos Demon Codex yet because I want to play test them first. I will find points later.

If your lord is manning the gunemplacement, why are you then spending points on both a powerfist and meltabombs?

Wouldn't it be better to give him a regular powerweapon or a lightning claw instead?
In my opinion it is a bit of a waste to let a cc monster like the lord hang back to shoot a gun when theres a very capable champion in the havoc squad there to do it. I know hes BS5 and all, but honestly it seems silly, and not a very Khornelike thing to do.
If you want a BS5 HQ manning the gun, then how about a Warpsmith instead? He also comes kittet out with a poweraxe, meltagun, flamer and a juicy 2+ armorsave. Not bad imo, and almost the same price as your lord.

For your troops I would go with a combo of berzerkerunits and regular csm. The regulars for the two special weapons, and the zerks for cc goodness.

How about some heavier weapons on the havoc squad manning the Icarus? Im just thinking that the AC's will be har pressed to do a dent in AV 12-13, so maybe throw in a couple of missile launchers and/or lascannons instead.

Oh my bad, I ment lightning claw. I got mixed up. I think I will just drop that lightning claw and melta bomb.

I was hoping to just use only 1 HQ for CSM to save points for Daemons. If I had more points then I would have the warpsmith (I do have the iron warrior war smith to count as it)

If I went Warpsmith route then I would only use CSM w/ MoK
(using Khorne Beserker models still and just saying they had not been lobotomized to be true beserkers)

Unless I can give him MoK and unlock KB as troops.

Should I spread LC in all 3 squads or just have 1 or 2 squads with 2-3 LC?

I have 20 pts left so what should I use to spend on the blood letters? This squad will be occupying the ADL to man the gun and deter assaults along side a Havoc squad.

I feel that I should lessen my CSM list to fit the other 10 blood letters.
