I've been thinking of getting into this game (games?) but I do have some questions first that I'd like to ask the more experienced hobbyists here. What are its pros and cons in your opinion?

1. First -and most important- is it good and fun? How does it compare with GW games? Rules-wise, is it good? I've heard generally good words about it, but I'd like your opinion as well.

2. Is it a miniature game like warhammer or is it more like a board game with miniatures?

3. What is the difference between Tactics and Warfare (if any)?

4. Also very important (to me at least), are the models assembled and pre-painted? I mean, to me, assembly/painting is more than half the fun!
