I can't seem to Get his skin tone right, what colours/ washes should i use?

On this:


I used a base coat of Deneb stone (Vallejo Panzer Aces Light Mud is very similar), wash with a flesh / purple mix, re-highlight through Deneb Stone to VMC Ivory at extremes. Basically a very light tan / buff colour.

Bruising and deep recesses glazed with a touch of purple again (watered down, very little on the brush). Keep that subtle.

Eyes glazed blue, red glazed into the nose and cheeks. These need to be very gentle; you want to shift the tone just a little to give the face life, not apply it like makeup.
