Hey Dakka, I couldn't find any other topic like this so I will go right ahead.

so i was perusing the internet for gak and giggles and recently rediscovered my old love of command and conquer (go Nod). Looking at a little tidbit from Tiberium Alliances. I found a certain tank that looked dead like a baneblade. Someone could have alreadyI did a double take.

Yeah, the Tiberium Alliance tanks have similarities to a lot of 40k vehicles, with many being directly plagiarized like that Baneblade. It's actually closer to the old Armorcast Baneblade, and this article also shows one similar to an Ork Bonecruncha:
