Now I have a doubt: the 5th Edition SW Codex, with all the "Wolf and the Lion" thing is like: "yeah, they used to hate each others, but now they are like best buddies and yadda yadda yadda", the DA codex says no more than "and the duel it's now a ritual". So: are the Wolves and the DA like Sworn Brothers (like DA and Salamanders, for example) or what? Thanks, I have this doubt ^^

They are brotherly enough, but there are plenty of rivalry between them. There are worse rivals like the Iron Hands and Ultramarines. The Manticores and the Ultras again. Not the Ultras' fault. Salamanders ain't too fond of the more brutal chapters, same with the Imperial Fists. the Ultras, the Blood Angels, the Raven Guard and such.
I didn't know DAs and Sallies were sworn brothers.

I know in the 13th Black Crusade book...somewhere, there's an excerpt from one of the Imperial Commander's journals that comments on the Dark Angels and Space Wolves rivalry.
It goes on to talk about Chaos guys overrunning the command dugout and during the fight warriors from both chapters show up to help. They start out pretty friendly, banter back and forth, and after a while it turns into more of a "I have a bigger boltgun than you" sort of contest. After the fight, they're in each others faces throwing insults and challenges. It takes a HMFIC showing up to break it up.
Then again there are the codexes that claim it started out as a fight between the Lion and Russ and evolved into a friendship/respect for each other. I'd go with that honestly, it stands to reason that over the centuries the comradeship would return.

Rivals can still be friends. Wolves and DA can be friendly to each other, but that rivalry can be flared up and result in the two not wanting to cooperate and competitiveness.
That being said DA aren't that friendly to anyone.

I'd say any given encounter comes down to whether the Space Wolf commander is inclined to drop power trou and start a measuring contest. The Dark Angels don't seem like the type to start fights, but they're not going to back down either. That said, no matter how poorly the two sides are getting along, I guarantee you that once one enemy bullet flies through the air, they cut the crap and do their duty.

ADB: I showed the Wolves revealing the key weakness at the heart of the World Eaters; showing Angron that his Legion was broken and worthless compared to the others; that he was the one primarch who couldn't trust his own warriors, and that they didn't care if he lived or died; showing that loyalty to brothers and sons is the heart of success for the Legiones Astartes, to the point even Lorgar makes a big deal out of saying the World Eaters and their primarch were massively outclassed by Russ, and Angron was too stupid to see the lesson Russ had sacrificed time, sweat, and blood, to teach. We're talking about a battle the Wolves won, by isolating the enemy general through pack tactics, and threatening to kill him, without a hope of defending himself. It was a balance, 50/50 - Angron overpowered Russ, and the Wolves were losing ground to the World Eaters; but Russ and his warriors had Angron by the balls, and barely broke a sweat. They won, no question. Lorgar even says: "The Wolves won, meathead."
Dorn won’t help you either. He’s too busy being the Emperor’s groundskeeper, hiding behind the palace walls. The Wolf is too busy cutting off heads as our father’s executioner, while the Lion holds on to his secrets, and has no special fondness for you. Who else will come? Not Ferrus, certainly. Nor Corax either. Even as we speak, I suspect he flees for Deliverance. Sanguinius?’ Curze laughed cruelly. ‘The angel is more cursed than I. The Khan? He does not wish to be found. So who is left? No one, Vulkan. None of them will come. You are simply not that important. You are alone.’ Konrad Curze to Vulkan

Angels and Wolves are definitely not best buddies - contrary to what Beaviz believes, it's hard to find bigger rivalries among loyal Astartes. In inter-legion/Chapter rivalries, only the Space Wolf/1k Sons hatred outright surpasses it. Wolves do seem to have a thing for grudges, don't they? :-P
Depending on the commanders in question and how seriously he takes his Chapter's history, the two can grudgingly work together when absolutely necessary (and the result used to be described as greater than the sum of its parts), refuse to work together despite circumstances or come to open conflict if no other priorities present themselves.
In any case, the Wolves/Angels rivalry is the oldest in the Imperium, dating back to the Great Crusade and at least 2nd edition, predating other such rivalries. There even used to be a rule that SW and DA hit each other on a 3+ in close combat. No other rivals can claim that (except the 1K Sons).
