STR 10 is too hard/inefficient to come by to bypass T5. Tau have no h2h.
So, volume fire. Fire Storms or whichever Crisis Suit load out can legally pack in the most shots.

LRs are a bad idea versus tau. There will be a railgun or longer ranged Fusion Blaster to suck your 250+ points into First Blood. I know you want it to deliver your KhorneBs (or whichever) but unless the tau player resists the die-hard tendency to have a Railhead, and he skips the longer range Fusion Blaster (unlikely!), this truck will be blown up quick.
The hell turkey is going to be your bread and butter. Hope he doesn't take the new toys to get Interceptor or Skyfire.
