Subject: Grey Knight army project - lots of pics, videos
Hello everyone, after finishing my imperial guard, necron and chaos armies in past year i had couple of months break spent playing mmorpgs and after that while i realized it is time to start somethink new. I always liked grey knights models but as everyone around had gks after release of their latest dex i did not wanted to join fotm fags so they had to wait, till now when everyone seem to move towards necrons or new tau. What you can see here is ressult of last month of painting and few extra hous i spent painting while cought(again) in the world of azeroth. Again i went for compromise between time spent and quality as i want nice looking army but dont want to spend more than couple of month painting it. Enjoy the pictures, enjoy showcase video and let me know your opinions. I ll keep updating with new additions hopefuly once every two weeks. Are the bases with the cobblestone type ground done with cork?
Yes, i glued cork to the bases, wait till the other day glue was realy dry and then used scalpel to make them look like cobblestone. After that whole base was painted by vma german grey and then used L shaped stencil to highlight the corners with light grey color.
