Here's the latest tank that I've been working on: A Renegade Militia Mobile Orbital Defence Platform.
The chimera track housing is original. The chassis is entirely scratchbuilt. I've added power cables at the back to power the huge laser.

That is really cool and well executed. I would have made the barrel longer considering the distance it is intended to fire.

Nice job and painting. The only problem is I ain't sure if a Chirmera chassis would be big enough to hold a orbital defence laser. But overall nice work.

Not an Orbital Defense Laser, but it's some nice work. I'd call it a tank hunter based on it's size. An ODL is enormous. At a minimum, think of the Ion Cannon from The Empire Strikes Back.

Perhaps a tank hunter then. I was thinking anti-aircraft or point defence, but you're right. Orbital is probably too much for such a tiny tank.

It's a beautiful model.
Isn't the "Orbital" part of the name because the defence platform is in orbit?
I'd love to see this thing orbiting around in space. I imagine little blipping sounds while it rotates around slowly without any propulsion systems

Clean conversion, looks like a mortar tank.

I know, perhaps a little over ambitious. What can I say? It's the Little Tank That Could.
If you're following my other threads you'll see that I'm developing a Stug kit for the Chimera. If that works out and shifts a few units I'll consider replicating a version of this kit as a Resin add on too.
