Now, this is not going to be a hate filled thread but more like a rant. So, I decided that for my tournament list I was going to use the combo of DLord + 5-6 wraiths. I love the Wraith model, I like the DLord, they are an absolute terror when charging, it's a win-win situation. Well, what did I do? I ordered the Destroyer Lord pack from GW:



It looks realy good, it really does, so I was royally pissed when I got my new shiny and it was pretty much the upper torso of a Lord ... The miniature looked absolutely ridiculous with that tiny torso and tiny hands. I compared to my other Destroyer and the effect was just comical.

On the good side, I now have the upper torso and arms to create a Lord, and it should be easy to find some legs, PLUS, I decided this was going to be a great chance to finally attempt a Kitbash! Well, here's my progress so far:







I'm thinking about adding an hormogaunt corpse to his claw, like he was crushing him. I'm planning on teaming up with Tau, because I'm a complete Riptide fanboy (That mech is so sexy ), so Tyranids are the only "fluffy" reason I can think of to make Necrons and Tau work together.

C&C to improve this model even further? (if you can remember anything Necron related it would be even better I'm very new to "The Hobby", so I have almost exclusively necron bits but if the idea looks good I'll glady search ebay for it!)
