Does the Skyshield restrict it's invuln save as to where the shot is coming from?

ADD causes my posts to ramble from time to time. Please bear with me.

Yes, they do. (as in, no the skyshield does not restrict it's effect based on the direction of the shot)

Some Tomb World in some galaxy by that one thing in that one place (or Minnesota for nosy people)

Don't be suprised at anything the skyshield does, the rules for it are so broken (or at least they were not sure if they were faq'd or something) next thing you know you can now mount gun emplacements on it XD

I don't really see how a sky shield is broken. I've used it and it hasn't really done much to "break" the game. Placing vehicles on it is wonky, but I don't see anything else that indicates game breaking qualities. Meh.

Well with it's intended function being a landing pad for aircraft, allowing them to deepstrike without scattering, and as of recently no aircraft has deepstrike... I'd say it's pretty broken.

It's now a force-field platform to park your tanks on!

I'd say no . Just cuz I like ta-mah-toes. Plus isn't there a rule on it that says if the sides are up then and only then there's a 4 invulnerable, from shooting. Which we have to assume is coming from OFF THE sky shield . It's not like a force filed bubble it's the walls that give you the save and since your both inside the walls then no.

The 4+ invuln only applies if the walls are up, but they apply to any shooting.

it is entirely possible for an enemy unit to be on top of the skyshield at the same time as another unit and shoot at each other.

And yes it is actually a force field, the walls simply project it.
