I was playing a new to sixth guy. He has not played since 4th. It was my khorne demons vs chaos space marines.

I had
Skarbrand
Herald on jugger
2 squads of 4 crushers
2 squads of 20 letters
1 squad of ten letters
Skull cannon
Soul grinder
He had
Naked chaos lord
2 squads of zerkers in rhinos
3 squads of 10 csm
10 man bike squad
2 preds las cannon heavy bolsters
1 defiler

He got first turn and ended up with the 4 point marker in his zone.
Nightfight first turn he kills a couple guys
My turn 1 roll 8 on the warpstorm chart. It has a chance to hit all my guys. It does no damage on my side. His turn.
I proceed to hit 6 different things blowing up 1 rhino wrecking the other. It also kills half a dozen different guys.
Night fight didn't help him
The second roll was 12 so dropped 10 letters into his zone.

It did nothing the Rest of the game.

@ OP: By the looks of your list, if you closed the gab, he would have been toast. He doesn't have much of anything to take down your Skarbrand, and when he would get into assault, he wouldn't be to stop you. I guess bad matchup for him, and the list you have works well against his. The batrep itself looks short, and maybe it is unfinished.
