Can my Dreadnought cause Instant Death on a Carnifex, or are there rules stating otherwise?

The Dread is Str10 as there is a cap on maximum stats.

I suppose if you enfeebled the carnifex, yes, you would instant-kill it.
But T6 prevents it from being doubled-out by str 10
