Hi,

So just read the HH Story involving Barabas Dantioch, and kind of got wondering if there was anything that could be done with his premature aging. Could rejuvenat treatments have restored him to his younger stature? or does rejuvenat even work on astartes?

Your honor is your life, let non dispute it!

Really, it's unclear. There are so many reasons that it is dubious:

Very few Astartes ever show any significant signs of aging (and they don't normally die peacefully anyway), so there isn't much 'in-universe' reason for rejuvenat to be considered as a treament for them.

The rejuvenat treatments are presumably genetic (rather than nanobots or something), so the very different genetic code of the Astartes would probably cause problems (and given that Astartes don't really normally 'get old', there would have been no reason to research that difference in the first place).

The Hrud weapon presumably doesn't actually 'age'* the subject, so treatment for actual aging might not work in the first place.

*By this, I mean, if the weapon "ages" you 40 years, your body doesn't suddenly require 40 years worth of metabolic support. You don't need to eat 40 years worth of food, drink 40 years worth of food, rest 40 years worth of sleep, and take 40 years worth of bathroom breaks. It just causes cellular damage that is roughly consistent with natural aging.

My very strong bet would be that rejuvenat treatment would simply not be an option for the reasons above. I suspect that it wouldn't work on anyone (since the weapon isn't actual aging), that even if it did work, it would need to be tailored to human/post-human genetics, and there would have been no specific development of post-human rejuvenat treatments.
