Simple question that came up in a game last night. If an Ethereal joins a unit that can thruster move in the assault phase, how fast can the unit move since the ethereal doesnt have the thruster move? Or can the move at all? Or the third option we used since we couldnt find it in the rules was the models with the jumppacks could move but the ethereal couldnt. Thanks for any info.

It's unclear, the Thrust Move rules only deal with Jump UNITS not Jump Models, so there's no clear way to resolve for a unit of mixed Jump and non-jump models, but I would say they cannot make a Thrust move while he is attached.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Units move at the rate of the slowest model in the unit. I would argue that they lose the thrust move if there is a model in the unit who cannot make a thrust move.

There are three things you must never do: Never turn down free booze. Never turn down free food. And never turn down free booze.

~5,500 points ~2,500 points next?

That rule only applies when charging.

Hmm, you're totally right. All is fair game, apparently, so long as you maintain coherency. BRB pg. 10 & 11.

This was hammered out with Flyrants and Hiveguard. Pretty much as long as the unit stays in cohesion all is good. See the example about a SM unit moving everyone but the Heavy weapon, so that the heavy can still fire as it did not move.
