So if I have a Soul Grinder for example,
1. Could my own units move under it?
2. Can Enemy units move under it?
3. Could the unit under be charged? ( Assuming the front guys are only under the back half of the Soul Grinder, so essentially the front legs of the Soul Grinder has nothing underneath)
4. Could I charge from out of under the Soul Grinder?
5. Does it count as shooting through a unit?

Since the Soul Grinder as no base and the space is enough for models to go under just had this question come up in my mind.
Thanks for helping

if you agree to that since it KIND OF makes sense prior to the game, sure

RAW - no, only skimmers allow that not walkers. Least far as i know enemy models can move over your skimmers just cant be within 1inch when theyre done like normal.

No model may be moved *through*. Therefore, no.

No, the only models we are allowed to move under are flyers, and you still have to end more than 1" away. And can't go over their base.

There is no explicit rule stating that you cannot move under/between the legs of a big walker which has no base. In practice I don't see anyone do it.

Ok, that seems fair then, FMCs can have units on their base though.

So shooting a unit behind a soulgrinder still confers a 5+ cover save then?

FMCs may not have anything on their base. Where did you find that one?

And yes, as units would be drawing LOS through another unit, a Soul Grinder would grant a 5+ cover.

No they can't. You still have to stay 1" away from their base if you're an enemy model, and you can't move over the base of a friendly model either, as specified on pages 21 and 30.

As with shooting a unit obscured by any other unit, yes.

Yeah, just like any time a model is 25% obscured by another model not in its own unit.

Ok, that seems fair then, FMCs can have units on their base though.

no, you can never have a model on another model's base.

Hmmm, I swear I saw something about that, but it probably was my imagination...

I thought 25% obscured was only for vehicles?
