So in the book it says it is enabled until the end of the next turn, which my opponent explained as 2 full turns then.

Meaning when I cast say Prescience, it lasts from start of beginning of turn 1 to end of turn 2.

But what I interpreted was that until the end of next turn meant that the start of beginning of turn 1 to the beginning of turn 2, which would be end of a turn.

If the former is true then psychic powers just got really insane.

Anyway, thanks for those who can clarify this.

Turn, unless otherwise specified means Player turn, not game turn.

Each power tells you how long it lasts for.

You know what really bugs me? When my opponent, before they show up at the FLGS smears themselves in peanut butter and then makes blood sacrifices to Ashterai by slitting the throat of three male chickens and then smears the spatter pattern into the peanut butter to engrave sacred symbols into their chest and upper arms.
I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

"Long ago in a distant land, I, M'kar, the shape-shifting Master of Chaos, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish Grey Knight warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in space and flung him into the Warp, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to real-space, and undo the evil that is Chaos!"

Next turn refers to the turn after this one. So the next turn is the turn after this one.

Fragile and Snapshot are correct. Unless it says game turn it is referring to player turn. A power that lasts 'until the end of the next turn' will last until the end of the next player's turn. In a 2 player game (the nomral way to play 40k) this effectively means until the start of your next turn.

Make sense?

On a related note, I wish they had just called game turns rounds. Would be less confusing.
