This is my first empire list, i love infantry armies, so i want to create one of the Empire.

Here is my list:

Lord {
1 Captain of the empire[enchanted shield, Crown command, howling sword, complete armor] = 154 points
}

Hero{
1 Battle standard bearer[complete armor, shield] = 93 points
1 Wizzard [level 2, dispel scroll] = 125 points
1 Priest [skaven helment, heavy armor] = 87 points
}

Core{
30 Halberdiers [full, no shield] = 300 points
detachment1 : 10 gunners
30 Halberdiers [full, no shield] = 300 points
detachment1 : 10 gunners
}

Special{
30 Greatswords [full, Banner of the perpetual flame] = 440 points
detachment1 : 10 archer
1 Great cannon = 120 points
}

Rare{
1 Steam tank = 250 points
1 Celestial Hurricanum = 130 points

}

TOTAL = 1999 points.

Please, i want to know your thoughts.

I like this list its very similar to mine. Except i dont have a steamtank. Instead i use 2 units of 5 pistoleers.

And i dont take a captain i have 2 priests and a level 4 wizard.

Otherwise mqn. Good list what lore are yoi taking? You have to mark it on your list

BSB cannot take a shield...shrieking sword is kinda meh, greatswords dont really benefit from the banner... 25 points will buy you more bodies! Otherwise, solid list, you should do fine.

give the greatswords the standard of discipline, stick the general in there for a Ld 10 bubble, you can therefore drop the crown of command. In fact, you may want to consider an Arch Lector as your general, the prayers will help out, still will be Ld 10 if in greatswords...

2x10 handgunners wont do an awful lot, if its anti-chaff you want, x-bows will be better. 10 Archers is also a fair bit of overkill, 5 is plenty. in fact, make that 10 archer detachment a 2x5 one...

And Riverhawk, a bsb can take a shield. you are thinking last book...

How? Its BSB and hand weapon, each uses one hand...army builder says it as an error as well as the rule book.Yes you can take..but you couldn't use.
