I'm planning on going over to the uk for a couple of tournaments in the summer are there any 40k or fantasy tournaments that people reccommend?

You may want to check out the forums over on The Warhammer Forum as well for this as that's the main forum for UK events. Just be aware that while the fantasy events get posted in the main "Latest Tournament News" forum on there, the 40k events get posted in that forum and also the "40k Events" subforum found under the general 40k discussion forum (confusing I know)

My site (in my signature) maintains a sortable list of events as well with links to the tournament website (or the forum thread where there's no dedicated website) if you want to see what's around

Where abouts in the UK are you going to be? warhammer forum is the best from what I have used.

In terms of Summer...War Of The Roses..the English ETC funding event will be held in essex at tabletop nation middle of June. Its a singles event...1850pts and will be around the 20 pounds mark including lunch both days.

Rules pack and info will be posted once we confirm with tabletop nation.

Most of our big events have been and gone such as caledonian and the GT final. Howver the gt heats will be coming up by the end of summer. Just keeo your eyes peeled on the warhammer forum under the 40k tournament section
