Hi all.

I have recently purchased a vulture gunship and I have put her together, but Iam unsure how to correctly use the flight stand. If I use the existing indentention the bird will be pointing nose up by about 15 degrees. Is this meant to be the case or can I modify the situation? Iam allowed to alter the flight stand so the gunship is at least level or better still pointing nose down, or do I have to change the Gunship itself?

Also, with the gunship a little square resin block was included that can fit on the flight stand but Iam unaware of what it is for. It does not fit on the gunship so what Iam meant to do with it.

Thanks in advance.

PICTURES help more than descriptions, usually.

Especially when it comes to items like this.

Could you not put the vulture on the stand the other way round?
So it's 15* nose-down in an attack run?

I know I can with my Valkyrie.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Good point, I will add some pics soon. As to your other point, the hole that the flight stand fits in is not level, and spinning the direction of the bird will not work.

Huh? If you spin it around it will be nose down instead of up. I've seen several of these and no one has had this issue.

No it won't. The Vulture model is slightly tail-heavy, so if the base is at all loose in the slot it will sit at a slight nose-up angle. Turning it around would make it even more nose-up, but this unbalances the model so much that it just falls off the base.

The only solution is to make your own custom stand (pin it on a metal rod, for example) with a sturdier joint.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.
