Third that, also deff rollas on battle wagons. They eat right through every piece of armor in the game... Just make sure your list is built around wagons because one won't make it too far.

Bikernobz (5-6 of them) plus a bikerboss is dead scary and costs ~500pts depending on the fancy toyz you like to put on them or not. Sounds expensive, but gotta realize that theyre 2wound T5 models with impossible to negate saves (yes you can limit them down in some situations but you will never negate them fully). You will always either have the 4+ cover, 4+ armor, or 5+ invul as well as the FNP.
I play them a little less chaotic as most people. Most surge them right up the battlefield using the 4+ cover - guess what, ITS JUST A 4+! every single shot at them has a good chance of going through that save, so i take an extra turn if i have to and go the long route but staying out of sight till the last minute. I usually get to the enemy tankline with 1-2 wounds missing, if that. Once i get there, pain happens. For him
Orks lack ranged AV14 damage. We can glance it with rokkits and the Boomgun but thats it. The only ranged weapons we have "period" that does more is random luck Zzap guns or SAG guns. Unless you take a Warphead for some reason, Zzap as in the spell is S10 Ap1 autohit but dont rely on that its a low chance to get it even with the reroll.
Still say bikernobz are the best. I always roll for Personal traits and hope for #3 which gives my bikerboss Outflank (and his unit) so i cant charge for a turn but i still come out on top because its 1 turn of free shooting for him vs 2-3, and im up in his grill so he wont want to use pi plates unless he needs to. Out in the field he wont care and throw pi plates all day.

There's lots of options, but Warboss with a PK and Deffrollas are the easiest to implement.
Also, we are only talking about Land Raiders and the Leman Russ tanks with AV11 rear, every other AV14 vehicle is AV10 rear and so it's easy pickings for as few as 8 shoota Boyz in close combat.

One thing that has always bugged me with the PK answer to av14 is when that av14 has some really nasty stuff inside that would love nothing more than to have your warboss and whatever he is with right there to charge next turn. Or some flame templates that suddenly you are all bunched up for. Sometimes it's nice to pop the thing in the shooting phase so you can shoot then charge the occupants.

If you CAN pop it prior to the charge it is always better not just because then you can charge whats inside (if you are allowed to, speaking in general not just for orks) but also because you avoid the explosion damage as you are more likely to explode it than wreck it even with hull points nowadays.
However for Orks as i said earlier, we can only get lucky glances or unreliable pens on it. S8+ is common in our melee, but rare in shooting. The only way i ever take a SAG is if i got no reason for a second warboss given the tactic i got going on and i have spare points because i think ive caused 30 wounds with it in over 25 games, most of which had a 4+ or better coversave and ignored it anyway. I also have bad luck with rolling snake eyes on turn 1/2 (I HATE THAT) so its a huge liability for me.
On the flipside what besides a Land Raider has AV14 all around anyway? Yes i know Monolith but its also never, ever used lol. Everything else usually has AV13 or less sides and at best 11 rear, koptas can deal with that easily.

Ya my comment was more to do with land raiders and more of a complaint that the PK is our only really reliable way of dealing with it. Although I have been taking a weirdboy for extra waaagghs for my dakka jets recently but again not to reliable that you will get a zzap when you need to. I have only taken the SAG 3 times each time it blew itself up turn one or two and never killed anything besides my own stuff so I stopped trying to take him.
