Subject: Representation of 'The Axe of Blind Rage' and other artifact weapons

So i wanted to give my Chaos Lord the Axe of Blind Fury - but i quite like the sword he already has, so was considering maybe just settling for the Murder Sword.
When talking to one of the guys at GW, he explained to me "the names are more of a rough guidline. The axe of blind fury could be the sword of blind fury, or the mace of blind fury. Hell, you could even model a rubber chicken of blind fury if you really want to".
I just want to know whether this is actually an accepted thing. Can my Axe of Blind Fury actually be a Sword of Blind Fury instead?
Thanks guys

Depends on your opponent, most people won't mind so long as there's no risk of confusion, for example, if you had 2 lords, one with an axe of blind fury represented by a sword and another with the murder sword represented normally, people might not like it because it could cause confusion.
But as long as it looks like a Daemon Weapon and is unique to the lord, you shouldn't have issues.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Well my HQ Choices are a Lord and a Sorceror, so it shouldn't be a problem in that respect, i'd hope.
Also, i'm using the Lord from the DV box set - just because he looks pretty neat, and the sword is very deamon-y.

Paint Red and White stripes on it, your opponent will understand.
But you should at least for the sake of people that can get confused easily and the wysiwyg crowd just make it as it is called an axe.

Players are broadly open to customization/substitution with daemon weapons like this, as long as there's no confusion. Rule of Cool definitely comes into play here. If the model looks awesome, and your opponent doesn't experience confusion, he will almost certainly be cool with it.

Abhorrent Grotesque Aberration

There is no model representation provided by GW for the "Axe of Blind Fury". By that I mean there are no pictures and the textual description gives zero clues except for the name.
That said, use what you want, right up to and including nothing at all.
If you do choose to model it, make sure it is identifiable as something unique. Which should be pretty easy through either paint, green stuff or using a weapon not found elsewhere in your army. Personally, I'd still make it an axe.
If you don't choose to model it (similar to how most SM models are not modeled carrying both a bolter and bolt pistol and grenades...), then the model itself should be easily identifiable as not being like whatever else happens to be in your army.

A little bit like in fantasy, players are quite accepting when it comes to representing "magic" items - just follow Manns suggestion and make sure it is clear what is the daemon weapon and what is a normal powersword, so there isnt confusion
