An Igloo Deep North in Canada, eh?

Hey all. Quick question: Baharroth has hit and run. He confers it to any sky hawk unit he joins. Given the new rules for H&R, not everyone needs it. If he joined a unit of warlocks, they would not have it conferred to them, but they (as a unit) could utilize it. Correct?

Both players should be using the least durable units possible, with the house rule that all players remove an article of clothing every time you lose a unit, and take a drink every time you kill one of your opponent's units.
I have no idea which army will be triumphant, but I can assure you that everyone wins.

The FAQ clarifies that any "Exarch powers" the Lords have are only given to their own aspect, but Hit and Run isn't one of the listed Exarch Powers (Shadowstrike, Skyleap etc.), it's just a USR and only requires one model in the unit to have it (in the same way as Karandras' Stealth USR). Some people will probably disagree but that's how I interpret it.

The exact wording goes something like:

"He has the hit and run rule (this ability is conferred to any unit of Swooping Hawks he joins)"

RAI it doesn't say "only conferred to", it just states that it is conferred to them, as it would in fact be to anything else he joins too, as per the 6th Ed rules. Nothing in the wording denies him from passing it on, the bracket part is just outdated and should be FAQ'd out.

As Quanar said, they're not listed as Exarch powers, so at least the FAQ isn't relevant IHMO, if anyone fights it tell them to stop being a jerk to someone playing such a dated codex!

It is irrelevant whether all members of the unit have the rule, as only one member now needs the rule for all the unit to *benefit* from it

The FAQ wouldnt be relevant even if it were an Exarch power
