"Dakkanaughts" is common, but to be frank doesn't hold a candle to "Dakkaroos".

I believe the official term is "Dakkanaut" rather than "dakkanaught".

Stop. Just like "fetch", you're not going to make "dakkaroos" happen. Only Sean Connery of Red October could pull that off.

Yeah, I've been working on that for... like, a year. I don't think that's going to be a thing.

Kronk, your Clueless reference is priceless!

Anyway, I believe "Dakkanaut" is the preferred nomenclature.

When I joined Dakka, it was at the tail end of "Dakkaites", and has basically been "Dakkanaut" though I believe the correct phrasing is "Dakkanaught"

Though KK is correct, there are no people on Dakka.

Dakkaite is the traditional term from back in the day, but Dakkanaut seems to be gaining popularity.

I think that phrase is so popular because it really fills a... linguistic niche, a void really, in trying to describe that phenomenon - I guess it otherwise would be called, in a much less catchy/cool way, a forced meme.
