So guys as states above im making my roster and was just wondering if i need fan factor in my orc roster for this elague. Were using lrb5.

Each fan factor more than an opponent is equivalent to +1 on the FAME roll-off. FAME impacts the 6, 8, 11, and 12 results on the kickoff table, as well as getting you a little extra cash at the end of games. That's only 36% of the kickoff results, so you would figure it to come into play roughly one in three kicks.

But, that's FAME, not fan factor, and having two fan factor is no guarantee than you out-roll your opponent.

If you're playing a one-off game, it might be beneficial to drop anything under $50,000 you have left over into fan factor, but you could just as well buy cheerleaders or assistants. There's no reason to leave money on the table, but I doubt it'll have a huge impact.

If you're playing in a league, that money is probably better left saving for more players or an apothecary or something, your fan factor will go up without spending money on it as you play your games.

You'll have 1 FF, for free, after you win your first game. Read page 29. You can spend your gold as you see fit, but I have not understood the point of spending $$ for something that builds naturally, when there are other things that you need that $$ for.
