I recently did a doubles tourney with a friend and we lost badly with 2 losses and a win and the losses were both due to objectives,(we would have won all games if they were kill points) So we decided for our next tourney in 2 and a 1/2 months we would use different armies. My friend will be using the new(ish) Dark angels. Heres my list

The plan with this list is to scout the baal predator up and kill most of the enemy squad(s) first turn and get them off of any objectives. The Furioso will come down first turn and Start to kill infantry and possibly melta a tank when it arrives. The Assault squad in the drop pod with librarian and the other assault squad will try to come down on the third turn to capture/ contest objectives and try to take out a tank or some infantry. What are your thoughts on this list and if your not confused about why i took a drop pod for an assault squad it was because i needed the librarian to join a squad and he has no jump pack so cant deepstrike like the other squad can. Any feedback on how to make this as competitive as possible would be nice. Thank you.

I like the list, but you do realize that your enemy has one turn for destroying your one tank and he'll win the game? Just don't get too risky with that Baal Predator. One lucky meltashot and your game is over.

Its a doubles game so i should be fine if the predator dies and if i go first ill also have a dreadnought on the board. Would you use a list like this at 600pts or am i going in the wrong direction for super competitive because i really want to win the tourney so i want to have the best list possible.

I think this is nice and balanced list (something ba-lists rarely are).
So you will play against DA? You have any idea what will he use, Ravenwing, Deathwing, just normal marines?

However, nothing nicer against marines than ap3 flamer

No, it will be me and dark angels vs whoever we are put up against.

I think ill use blood lance and sanguine sword. Then depending on the opponent ill change out for biomancy and use smite and whatever i roll.

Divination >> Biomancy for BA.

The 4++ save power for an ASM squad that already has FNP can be game changing.
