I've been looking at getting hold of a copy of the Imperial Army Book 4 for the base plans inside. So I thought I'd try Ebay, boy what fun that is ) So far I've seen one go for £20 inc p&p and another for £24.87, not too bad. What is hysterical is one for sale for £40 plus £8.50 for p&p. Another is £76.95 with free p&p. You can get it for £35.84 inc p&p, brand new. Am I missing something here?

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

Simple - people will bog their arm in for as much as they think they can. Then when no one bites drop the price until someone does bite

http://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/priceskimming.asp
A product pricing strategy by which a firm charges the highest initial price that customers will pay. As the demand of the first customers is satisfied, the firm lowers the price to attract another, more price-sensitive segment.

Therefore, the skimming strategy gets its name from skimming successive layers of "cream," or customer segments, as prices are lowered over time.

Yeah, eBay and Amazon, alike. Cards Against Humanity sells for stupid prices, as it quickly goes out of print...and gets reprinted. A lot. People horde it up and charge stupid amounts, and people wait a couple weeks and get a copy from the company who makes it. Runebound expansions are selling at stupid prices too. I've been trying to get the adventure packs, managed to snag 10 out of 24 at retail price, but most of the others are BINs at anywhere from $40-135. There are 30 cards in each pack! What makes you think they are worth that? Especially since FFG WILL eventually reprint them. Anyway, if any of you guys have Runebound Second Edition booster packs at your store that are selling for normal prices ($10), let me know-I'll ask you to pick them up for me (other than the ones I already have) and I'll paypal you the money. Thanks.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind.

Have made around 150 purchases on Ebay including full armies - happy with all of them and about 90% were substantially under retail - especially pleasing when the minis were well painted - which is suprisingly often

I am pretty clear in my own mind what i will pay and don't chase the purchase - if I miss it - it will come round again............in fact i usually set out my max bid at the start and ignore it until I get the notice if i won or not.........

Runnin up on ya.

I was looking at battlehive on eBay and notices Lazarus games selling two empty cases for more than the maker charges for full cases, shipping included.

People is silly.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do
