The title says it all. Greater daemons with grt ether blades notwithstanding, how does one into av 14 vehicles from range? I've played with the idea of 'letters on an Aegis autocannon but that seems silly. Allies seem to be the way, and if that is the case can I do it cheaper than ~220 points?

Demons....still have screamers....they still kill armor....badly....
FMCs tend to kill flyers as well.
An Aegis line with a quad with plaguebearers behind it is an easy way to hold an objective, and give yourself some AA

Screamers, or plagueswords (Most nurgle unit's have sword's that glance vehicles on a 6.
Or, as said, monstrous creatures.
Screamers diddn't get bad in the new book. They just don't get 3 more meltabombs than every other anti-tank model.

Quad gun wont hurt a LR, lascannon might though.
Tzeentch shooting powers could, and some of the BRB psyhic powers could or warp gaze on the soul grinder.

IIRC meltabombs are S8 whilst their bites are S6, meaning that you can't really hurt AV14 on average.
For the OP:
I don't think just by themselves they have anyway to take care of fliers effectively, especially AV12.
If they made FMCs able to assault fliers then we'd be golden.
AV14 can be done easily by smashing from MCs.

Soulgrinders give you options against both as they have skyfire and are S10 in CC and have some shooting upgrades that could affect AV14.

Yes you can but they are all S6 meaning that you'll only glance them on 6s which is not reliable on an average of 3 hits per vector strike

Well you could just take the cheezebird of change and get the "I'll get as many shots as I want ability from the psychic ability along with divination and blow up a flyer per turn." He can tear through a LR and still survive the onslaught of attacks and shooting of your opponents entire army because he sees everything and says I pass all saves via re-rollable armor saves and if you get a FNP save then re-rollable FNP saves and then if he gets armor peirced he sitll has a re-rollable 4++ or 3++ invul is it? with the ability to re-roll all 1's to save. LoL There should be absolutely no problem dealing with flyers and or Heavy Tanks. Shi* You can just field him and call it a day xD ( I play chaos and I find this guy outraging btw)

I wasn't mentioning the Fateweaver as he, referenceing the South Park quote " Sucks A$*"
Meant the normal Lord of Change who has 5 attacks and a blastphemous 5 wounds
which incurss 3 smash attacks on the charge re-rolling everything... pretty sure its gonna die xD
Greater Rewards Exalted Rewards for 3+ Armor Save and grimoire or Greater Greater for 3+ armor and 4+ FNP
tie that with divination re-rolls to everything power and you get "I won't die"
Who shoots flyers from the front when they all have BA 10? xD

Fateweaver has bolt of change as well, d6+4 for str at ap2, thats enough if you roll well on the first d6 for str. Plus he has rolls on the BRB tables, molten beam for example is a str 8 melta shot. Flickering fire can be useful as you can get the rear armour quite easy compared to normal.
My anti air is a 16+ strong unit of horrors with herald with prescience and locus of conjuration, yes it can only glance most flyers but I have been quite lucky with them so far, you can get up to 7d6 of re rollable shots

3 soul grinders is ok anti air or really good anti land raider. They have a lot of s10 ap2 cc attacks.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

Beams cannot hit flyers as per the rulebook FAQ, which rules out both Bolt of Change and Molten Beam as anti-flyer options.
I think the Horror unit is good idea and I'm using the same thing as the mid-field linchpin in my Daemon army.

Exalted, as I never knew either where beams!, first time I have read the beam power as well, darn I have been doing that wrong. Also changes things slightly as Fatey was my anti air as well as the horrors. Darn!. So reading the BRB the only power in there that would be good good against flyers is crush which is pretty darn random :(

aren't there also some rewards that are strenght 8 AP1 lance shooting attacks (don't have my codex infront of me but that will pop all vehicles av 14 or otherwise

Yes, its a greater reward iirc, but fateweaver cannot take any rewards :(
Also on a FMC DP or even GD I think there are better rewards to be had on the greater table, I have only had that one once or twice for some reason, it is good though as it gives you some overwatch. For AV14 I did manage to pop a land raider using the flamer template which is str5 but armour bane so 2d6 pen managed to pen it and blow it up which saved me having to assault it
