Heralds with the pinks, Warpsmith with the larger cultist horde. The soul grinders and forgefiend behind a bubblewrap of cultists to keep from getting tarpitted unnecessarily. Everything steadily marches down the field towards targets, with a portalglyph or a grimoire depending on killpoint/objective games. The Warpsmith hangs back with the hellbots repairing any damage (mostly to the forgefiend constantly overheating) and lowering cover saves from soul grinder bombardments, while Heralds give everybody re-rolls.

Not seeing too much of a problem with hordes with all the pieplates and flamers, plenty of prescience'd skyfire for flier spam, terminator spam could be a problem with only one source of ap2. Assaulty armies will probably kill all my troops but the walkers should be able to counter-assault and relieve most of the pressure.

Any glaring weaknesses that can be seen? I've got most of the army already, but only the comforting encouragement of a semi-competitive list could get me to paint 3 soul grinders without chugging the paint water and running screaming into the night.

Hi there!

Looks good, you might want to take the exalted lotus of conjuration and use it in concert with enfeeble to work around the fnp you may provide enemy units. Maybe a flying greater daemon would be good to use to dish out enfeeblement?

Might want to consider dropping the autogun cultist unit and replace it with more horrors if you have them or plague bearers if you don't mind straying a little from the theme. I feel 15 cultists are going to evaporate as fast as 10.

the list as is though looks very solid on paper.

Thanks for the comment. I'm honestly not too worried about giving anything fnp, with the majority of my firepower being str 8. Enfeeble is a good idea though, for instant-killing toughness 5 princes and beefy HQs.

As far as the cultists are concerned, I could see replacing the 10 man unit with daemons, as they're just temporary insurance against charges anyway and the daemon troops do everything they do better. I like having a squad of shooty cultists though, because even though their guns are lousy and their BS just as bad, 24" range means they do slightly more than just lounge on an objective all game for 10 more points. They don't do too bad against eldar and tau anyway.
