I want to make an assault marine heavy 1000 pt list, but apart from 2 10 man assault squads with meltas and axes I don't know what I should take, and considering I need it for all round use, it needs to have anti flyer as well.

Any suggestions???

Storm raven and mephiston bring you up to roughtly 1000 after you've kitted out your squad, well more like 900 so cut points down and throw in a vindicator.

Well, as much as I like that list, I'm not sure if 250p character is good in 1000p game. Takes quater of your points in single model

My list looks like this:

Librarian
Sanguinary Priest
Sanguinary Guard
Assault Squad
Tactical Squad
Attack Bike x2

Hits hard and fast, with the Tactical Squad split into Combat Squads to take objectives, Attack Bikes kitted out with Meltas to hunt tanks, and Sanguinary Guard+Librarian to lead the charge.

Too bad BA don't hit that hard :\

Well, Mephiston can hit pretty hard

Unless you have terminator armor.

I think that list could do well against other elite armys. Necrons, marines, eldar & maybe tau. Against hordey armys your gonna have trouble. IG, orks, & bugs will give you fits. Against the former bring lots of plasma & power wepons. Against the later, id change most if not all of that. A drop pod might be a good idea. Maybe half that tac squad with the assault wpn & a combi bolter. If you do use a drop pod or go DOA make sure you throw another squad near them. Without backup that squad or half a squad will get butchered
