Apparently Njal is attending AdeptiCon this year. Sadness. Hopefully the Con doesn't go too far in the red because of this. I dont think we should all rush to get refunds as this could just make the situation worse. Hopefully the Con can break even and perhaps offer discounts next year.

Still hoping my flight gets out...

I think most of the flights coming into Chicago last night were likely cancelled as it was an insane amount of rain. Today has been much better so I would assume they are running but likely delayed.

I haven't seen this much rain in one day in probably 10 years, there was very servere flooding locally and Adepticon is only across town for me.

The grand hall was full of players - most of the out of town guests had flown in last night and avoided the rain. Locally, getting to the con was like being a rat in a maze of flooded roads.

Those that left in the afternoon were delayed and had unscheduled layovers across the Midwest and came in about 4 hours late. The people who had evening flights had bad delays and came in at all hours of the night.
