Hi all,
This is my proposed allied detachment for a 6k points a side (4 players so 3k each) I've never played Guard before and this is one of my first ever army lists fro them. They will be playing side by side with my marines. I wanna try and play blob guard and as this is a objective/kill points/apoc game I made this list using battle scribe (on iPod and Android) so I get points values but the special rules are not shown so I don't really know what rules each squad gets. All I know is first rank, second rank fire! So here's me list:

Infantry Platton-390 pts

Infantry platton command squad-85pts

medi-pack (i really don't know what this does)
Melta gun
Vox-caster

3X Infantry squads (are the squads normaly 12 men?)
Special and heavy weapons are:
3X grenade launchers
Sargent's with chainswords and las-pistols
Vox-caster (Do I only need one for the whole squad (the 30 man) or one per normal squad? (the 12 man) )
Commissar (as we don't want a 50 man squad running off the board do we?)

Plasma gun
Melta gun
Sargent Bastone (im pretty sure that his wargear is las-pistol and power sword)

So my plan is to deploy the 30 man on one objective and the lasguns as behind for cover with the platoon command squad nearby. The Vets and other command squad will deploy on the other half with my marines to try and take to other objective on that side of the table. We will have an objective each and 3 kinda in the middle. I will be taking a flyer with my marines too and mostly shooty stuff as my friend/ally will be the fast attack vanguard of the force.

No offence, but the list is kind of a mess and there are a lot of mistakes. Makes me wonder how bad battlescribe really is then. So I can see why people avoided posting on it.

I can see some folk not wanting to give out a detailed list for Allies that have special rules for someone who doesn't own the codex, much less doesn't even have access to it. A lot of stuff here, advice-wise, is pointless if you don't have the book.

Best I can say is get ahold of a buddy or someone at your store who runs IG and knows it well. Then sit down with them and go over the book and the rules, organization, points, ect.
