Could someone confirm that the character that is killed by a model that has the 'Champion of Chaos' rule, is it any model they kill or only the oppositions character models?

I didnt think it sounded right when I asked the question.

do you role on it when you kill any spod like a normal trooper etc or do you only roll on the table if you kill one of their character models such as a HQ or commander etc...

hope thats a bit clearer

its anything with the Character rule. See the main book reference for what models have the Character unit type.

Which is things like HQs, but also includes Sergeants and their equivilants.

Also, you wouldn't roll for killing your own characters. Kharn the Betrayer wouldn't get a High-Five of the Gods for murdering the aspiring champion in a squad he's attached to.

Although he WOULD get one for killing an allied character from the "desperate allies" section, since they're considered "enemy" characters that you can't voluntarily attack.

There is NO SUCH THING as MORE ADVANCED in 40k!!! There are ONLY 2 LEVELS of RULES: Basic and Advanced. THE END. Stop saying "More Advanced". That is not a recognized thing in modern 40k!!!!
