GW dwarf hammerers are expensive so my idea of having two units of 30+ is a bit of a pipe dream, does anybody have any tips on how to convert or make my own hammers for a dwarf warrior unit

p.s. id use mantics shield breakers but my local GW obviously doesnt want me using non offical models which is fair enough really, you dont go the pub and take your own ale . . . . . or do you?

Never interrupt your enemy whilst he is making a mistake. . . . . . its bad manners

I'm not familiar with either model, but is it possible to take the arms/weapons off the Mantic models and attach them to the bodies of the GW Warriors?

I'm not sure what your budget is like, but I did some quick math (sorry, it's in $):

GW Hammerer each - $4.95 Unit of 30 - $148.50
Mantic/Warrior mix each - $3.44 Unit of 30 - $103.20

I'm sure you can find them cheaper either at a discount online retailer, or through Ebay.
