This is my first go at tabletop wargaming. I have spent a month painting and building terrain. Also, first time ever trying to make terrain.

That looks cool.
No way I'd have known you hadn't been doing this for years!

Your terrain is top notch. I wish mine looked half as good!

Thank you. I look at all those cool pics of tables and wish my table and minatures looked as good. I guess the next thing is to build me a table so I can make it bigger. I need some more houses.

Looks like you've taken to it like a fish to water

How to paint Skeletons the way I do if that's something you'd fancy trying.

Looks great!!

Houses are easy to build, especially if they are going to be bombed out!!

I'm thinking of switching to 20mm.

Right now I own some 20mm Russians and very few Germans. I do have 40 figures from Bolt Action. I have a hard time painting those 15mm. I do like the 28mm size but I'm afraid it will be too much for the table. Especially when I add AFVs.

20mm is the way to go for Modern Armor and Infantry. Im using 28mm for our Bolt Action games and 20mm for our Modern games. Good Luck!

Our group uses 15mm for Battlegroup Overlord, mainly because we like large tank battles and it's much easier to collect and paint a tank company in 15mm. Last night we spent 3 hours of American armoured division with British armoured allies vs a German tank company at around 1000 points on an 8'x6' board. Was awesome!
