So I'm making a Chaos army, but none of the gods really interest me... so being the dissenter that I am I decided to look for alternative sources of worship for my little plastic army screwing around with an "Old One" worshiping army or the cliche "We Hate Imperium but we Hate Chaos More so we use it against them" but eventually decided to base my army on a Malice worshiping group, I like the random White and Black scheme and the idea of an army of Chaos who want chaos itself to descend into chaos is pretty cool so anyway my question pertains to cult troops, I'm looking for a way to make them "work" in my Malice based army so far I've decided on

Shades of Malice (Count as Thousand Sons)
Basically ghost marines lead by a sorcerer, fluff wise they are tortured chaos souls trapped forever within their armor and are kept shackled to this plane by a sorcerer (basically same as Rubric marines)

Corpse Marines (Count as Plague Marines)
Former Chaos Marines who have been infected with an altered form of the "destroyer plague" turning them into walking corpses but due to magicks they can't infect anyone else because Malice is screwing with Nurgle

but I am at a loss for Count as Noise and Berzekers I was thinking maybe have the Noise Marines with little radio packs on their head and say they have been lobotomized so they aren't able to enjoy causing bloodshed and maybe have the noise marines have some sort of thing on their head blocking sensory perception so they can't experience the things they are doing?

So any suggestions I am basically looking for a way to make it seem like they were normal cult troops who got corrupted or enslaved by Malice?

Your ideas sound pretty solid, but I believe you may be looking for "Malal" and not Malice.

Spawn and Possessed work well with the theme as they're closer to the essence of Chaos than most other units. Same goes for anything daemonic, so that's Obliterators, Mutilators and Warp Talons (just a pity those last two aren't exactly fantastic choices from the Codex...)

Is it back to Malal? I thought they retconned it to Malice either way, I was thinking of some Spawn, I like Talons and Possessed but they just seem so expensive for what they do

Didn't the name "Malal" get removed because of ownership issues from the original writer of that Fantasy fluff? It's been awhile, but I remember there being some kerfluffle about that some time ago

I've also not seen him appear, by name, in any of the WHFRP stuff since 1st Ed, and going through some of the more-recent Chaos stuff, I see the other 4 Chaos Gods have their names trademarked to GW, but Malal is not listed.

I *think* Malal was on the list of minor chaos deities in WFRP 2nd edition's Tome of Corruption, but he's never had a single mention in 40k, for 40k its always been Malice.
