Guys where does it say (I could be wrong) that wounds from a template must be resolved from models under the template first? In other words you get hit with flamer or a large or small blast on a unit (not barrage) ...can you take the wound from models not under the template first?

so large blast hits a pack of 30 zombies (non ordance just blast, like a leman russ canon or a plasma canon) way in the rear....I remove casualties from way in the front of models not under blast? I could have sworn I read from under template first somewhere (probably wrong I admit)

It doesn't.

Correct, for non-Barrage you remove the closest model first.

They tried letting you only remove models under the blast, back in 3rd. This lets you snipe. This is bad

Third was annoying like that but 5th's wound shenanigans with wargear was just as stupid IMHO.
