Tried to put a backpack back on a shelf (had themn stored there earlier) and it booted me.

It is the items in world that are causing the crash. I got the crash to desktop when flying towards your volcano. I'm going to grab some quick dinner and then will take a look at reverting it.

We're also seeing some oddness with the QCraft portals needing verification even though it's already verified. Hopefully it's just a config setting I have set wrong.

Ok, been playing with the portals some more. They work fine as long as I go through first and verify them. Then they work for all players for a while, but after a few minutes, the verification is lost.

I'll see if I can find any more details on it, but short term I might just open up access to the /qcraft verify command as a workaround. That command alone shouldn't allow you to add other servers, only verify the existing link. But I need to test of course...

Try stepping out of the portal? Which server gives you the disconnect?

its instant, i entered the old server, connecting to either server kicks me immediately, with the same error.

Ok, cptprice try to login to the old server now. I've tested your player file and it's working. If it still disconnects you, I have no idea what's wrong.

so i did some stuff on the new server using stuff i brought from the old, i stuck some of what i brought over in a chest and went back through. Unfortunately when i go back to the old i am without any items. i dont mind it being one way it just sucks i took my hanglider so now i have to walk everywhere. i get a portal link error when going from new to old.

Well, I took off me armor, and loaded up my inventory in the old world, walked through the fancy portal, and it says the server link needs to be verified by an admin first. Walking back to the old world gave it all back to me, but perhaps something else needs set?

yeah, dark is messing with a config or something that needs set. few of us have managed to get anything to the other side.

I need to call some Taintbusters. I know the new server is brand spanking new and everyone will be working on new projects, but I discovered some taint in the redwood forest right next to my base.
I would deal with it on my own but my concern is that by the time I am ready to deal with it, it could have spread and ruined more of the really nice looking redwood biome.

So anyone with Thaumcraft 4 knowhow who could help or get me started down the path of removing the taint, it would be much appreciated.

Dark usually has the taint spread off. You'd almost have to transplant Greatwood trees, then the silverleaf plants would clean it up.

I've given you all access to the "/qcraft verify" command. If you go through a portal and your items are not transferred, and a message appears in chat saying to type "/qcraft verify", try typing "/qcraft verify"

I remove my claim on the island/peninsular in the north as well. Instead i'll settle between the cherry trees here.

Does anyone object to me claiming this section of forest -- including the lake and the peninsula-like thing surrounded by water-- as my own? I'd just go build there, but I won't be able to get on for several more days because of PC problems, my lappy can barely handle normal minecraft never mind Monster.
