i have not picked the codex up yet. this will be a themed force that i will be filling with fluff. although i don't want to completely blow it on the field. i got a nice tax return and splurged a bit on FW, so i am quite excited. this is what i have so far-

nurgle daemon prince
FW nurgle herald (was going to run him as a sorcerer)
chaos nurgle lord on bike (will convert with a plague drone to count as my bike)

7 plague marines w/ rhino
7 plague marines w/ rhino

2x blight drones

so, i have no real goal for points... but they obviously won't be large games at first. my qustions/ thoughts are...

what will be better and more themed for long range? should i go for havoks or 2x predators?

i don't know or have the rules for the blight drones yet, can they handle flyers?

should i snag another 2x guys on a bike (plague drones) to run with my lord?

another thought is to grab cultists or some plague daemons and have them man an ADL and camp some objectives- is this possible?

i'll be putting fists on my champs. should i go with a squad of 2x meltas and another with 2x plasmas?

sorry for the vague... everything. remember this will mainly be a fun, themed list. since i splurged on the FW (also picked up death guard upgrades and nurgle rhino hatches- woot!) i didn't have chance to get the codex (FW drained my hobby money). thanks for any and all help/ comments!

Put blood letters into adl since they have bs5 to man quad gun and are good cc unit. Since people try to charge into a adl. Fearless wont let them gtg. I think plague bearer still better than cultist.

plague drone from what I see do not have skyfire. I maybe wrong. They have jet pack cavalry rule.

if I put plague rines with meltagun in rhino then I like to take 2 pred with lascan sponsons. I would prefer pf over pow axe+mb on plague rine champ.

Well, bloodletters are out of the question since this will be a pure nurgle deathguard army- that's why i was wondering if i should go with bearers or cultists.

the plague drone WON'T be ran as a drone. it will be a "bike" for my lord.

as for the the predators, awesome. i like the idea of having more tnks over a small squad of havoks. and i'll definitely be taking powerfists over anything else on my champs. i suppose i'll just equip BOTH squads with meltas.
