Basically are there any tactics, or army list's that utilize Sternguard, Assualt terminators and regular terminators? I know they are a massive point sync for an army list but this would be for at least 1850 to 2000 point games and beyond. The only tactic I could up with, and this coming from zero experience in 6th edition( haven't had a chance to play any games yet) is to use locator beacons for the termies and a drop pod for the sternguard. Really I only want to know because I love all of these models and want a list that has all of them.

6th edition is all about lots of mobile units that can grab objectives. I see almost all of he top armies with large guard blobs of some sort, even cultists etc.
While you could build a sternguard termi list that can pick off enemy units and deny them holding objectives, unless you get into HTH you're not beating that blob squad.
t the same time, your army is so small you won' be able to hold many objectives to score the win.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase. |

Ahhh...so I will need the big guns. I assume a Thunderfire cannon or two is the best option?
Besides deep striking blind, or a land raider are there any other tactics to get your termies upfield quickly? I thought maybe using teleporter homers on tac squads or even drop pods might work but have never used this tactic.
Since C:SM usually don't field large blobs the only way to hold multiple objectives is to use Kantor and stern to increase scoring units? I have read in other articles that a tac squad for every 500points is the best option. I do want to try and use a sniper scout squad with telion in my army as well. He will pop transports but most importantly will man the Quad gun or Icarus lascannon.
Does using an Aegis defense line and telion as anti transport/flyer not mesh well with termies and sternguard? They can at least hold a home objective but if something deep trikes on my side of the board I seem screwed.

I like Telion and camocloak scouts in any army. The sniper rifles are a bit gak, but being able to allocate an icarus shot with telion is amazing, especially when you do it to things that can't LOS like special weapons.
The 2+ coversave is awesome too, they're very hard to shift off an objective.

Star Trek taught me so much. Like, how you should accept people, whether they be black, white, Klingon or even female...
