Shaman. That way you get more of the Krea animus. Personally I've stopped running more than one heavy (if any) with him. If I wasn't poor I would probably nab the Krea myself, which is pretty good as it makes most shooting cry. I would also try and squeeze an agonizer in there and maybe some nihilators (or maybe the new cataphracts with the fire grenade launchers, but haven't tried them) to help deal with higher model count

I was thinking on a list on a similar theme.... Whatcha think??

pMakeda
Molik Karn
Cataphract Cetrati (6)
Praetorian Karax (6)
Tyrant Commander and Standard
Paingiver Beasthandlers (4)
Agoniser
Willbreaker
Swamp Gobbers

The general idea is to have a brick which cannot be hit moving up the field... Cataphracts in front with cover from Krea, Gobbers and Makdea's spells. Karax behind them giving them all immunity to blasts. Tyrant and Makeda speeding things up.... Agoniser, Willbreaker and Beasthandlers in support....

Thoughts?
Oh and Molik cos he's Molik and wins games!!

First off, it may help to list whether you're taking a min or max unit instead of listing the number of guys you are taking in that unit. (Kinda tired, and for some reason confusing them with points costs)

Well I would probably post a separate topic so that more people see it, and I'm not too familiar with pMakeda, but I will try and help.

First off, who is going to have Savagery and Defender's Ward on them? An issue I see you having is that the certrati want both the spells, and that's four out of your six fury (I think savagery costs two, not sure) a turn to swap them if you want to, and you want to put carnage out, which costs 3 (again, off the top of my head, but I'm more sure about this one). I would consider Marketh to swap one of the upkeeps to save fury on Makeda. Of course, savagery/defender's ward are also good on Molik (though my personal preference is to defender's ward the certrati as they get more out of it IMO).

I like the idea of having the gobbers to drop a cloud in front of your guys, and the willbreaker does help out molik by letting him go farther, and puppet strings-The ability to have a reroll handy when you need it is pretty dandy. On to what confuses me. I can't figure out what exactly the Karax are doing in the list. You stated that they are there to shield guys from blast damage, but things like certrati aren't really scared of blast damage, and the squishy bits will probably be (bravely) cowering behind the certrati, I know that some people like the regular praetorian swordsmen with her, and I would look at those or nihilators for a second unit of infantry rather than Karax.

Good luck, and check out the privateer press forums as well

In making the above list I was concentrating on the fact that they would actually be immune to blast damage, and didn't even consider the idea of just letting the blast dmg hit them, and do nothing.... :p

I've revised the above list a little.

Archdomina Makeda

Basilisk Krea
Cyclops Shaman
Molik Karn

Aptimus Marketh
Mortitheurge Willbreaker
Agoniser

Cataphract Cetrati (max)
Paingiver Beast Handlers (min)

This is primarily a list to play vs a friend's Legion, as the Krea and Shaman will help protect everyone from the cheese eyeless sight shooting, whereas the Swamp Gobbers would not.

Agoniser and Willbreaker are always handy, especially vs Hordes, and Marketh is there to help out Makky!
I wanted to fit the Tyrant Commander in too for the extra move/pathfinder abilities, but points are too precious!!

Any further thoughts??
