Ok guys, I thought of a really silly apoc army that I think would be half decent.

10 squads of 10 Fireblades.

That's 12 shots a dude at rapid fire range. That's 1200 pulse shots a turn. (Assuming they survive LOL)

What's even better is the all have target locks. Have fun killing 10 gaurdsmen a piece a turn!

So... Thoughts?

And then a Reaver titan kills them all with a single shot. Things that can't damage vehicles are worthless in Apocalypse.

Also, your math is horrible. 10 Fireblades = each model gets 11 shots at long range, or 12 shots at half range or less. So that's 110/120 shots, not 1200.

@point 1: Yeah, didn't think about that.

@point 2: there are 10 squads of ten. There would actually be 100 of the Fireblades.

Oh, I missed that you were going to bring 10 of these squads. Unfortunately this means that you're spending 6000 points, and pretty much any other 6000 point Apocalypse army (for example, four Reaver titans) will wipe them off the table in one turn while the Fireblades can't even roll dice against anything. And the alternative armies will not be helpless against non-infantry units.
