Alright, so another user asked me to help him make a competitive Kan Wall type army, but since it's not my area of expertise, I'm posting up my attempt for C&C by the dakka community

This list is Codex: Dread Mob from Forgeworld allied to Codex: Orks. Before anyone asks, yes this is 100% legal, its no different than allying Blood Angels and Space Marines.

HQ
Big Mek w/ SAG, Bosspole, Cybork, Ammo Runt x2
[Allied] Big Mek w/ KFF, Bosspole, Cybork, Burna

Troops
20x Spanna Boys w/ Shoota, Mek w/ Burna
3x Deff Dread w/ Double Skorchas
[Allied] 30x Shoota Boys w/ 3x Big Shoota
[Allied] 12x Gretchin, Runtherd

Fast Attack
15x Killa Kan w/ Grotzooka

Heavy Support
[Allied] Big Guns w/ Lobba, 3x Ammo Runt, 6x Extra Crew, Runtherd

Fortifications
Aegis Wall w/ Lascannon

The force is divided into a massive charging horde of walkers and boys, and then the Grots and SAG Meks who hold the back line and bomb things.

The Boys and Walkers pretty much just surge forward, protected by the forcefield, and stomp face. I'm counting on sheer weight of numbers of Kans to drop a crapload of small blasts and then wreck vehicles up close, while the Boys just do what boys do best - die in huge numbers, snag objectives, and dakka wat needs dakka'ing.

Aegis wraps around the backfield objective if possible, and if not, is positioned very close to it. The Grots hunker down on the Objective, and claim perfect concealment from the Aegis making them invulnerable to most shooting. Extra Crew from the Lobbas man the Lascannon, and the Ammo runts from that unit are used as necessary for the SAG Meks, Lobbas and the Lascannon. Meanwhile the SAG Meks join the Lobba unit and use the Grots and Guns as shields.

Well.. we can probably cancel that Codex: Dread Mob part, they probably won't allow it at the tourney. So I tried making one without the DM

I recommend ditching the armour on the Kans and the armour (not cybork) on the Big Meks, *maybe* cut Loota Mobs to 10-12 each (and get a third one!), and you also *may* be able to cut a forcefield Mek.

I'd personally also cut that extra CCW on the dreads and take another Skorcha - theres a good chance these boys aren't ever gonna make it into melee, or if they do, some donkey-cave with a power fist is going to open them up, so Skorchas keep em cheap and keep (or even enhance) their power.

Otherwise it looks pretty good, though without Dread Mob for the extra Kans, I'm not sure how competitive a list like this can actually be. I'm pretty sure lots of people field it just with the standard 'dex.

I think like most Ork lists the main weakness you have is anti-Armour 14. Maybe take an Aegis or Imperial Bastion with a lascannon and a Grot mob to fire it and camp an objective? Maybe take a SAG Mek if your able to lose that second forcefield one - that thing *can* put out enough power to nuke a tank, though it may not be reliable enough for what you want.

I wouldn't recommend the Lobbas without the Aegis/Lascannon. If you don't have the lascannon, take kannons instead! Or of course both could be good

So replace Lobba's with Kannons?
