I've order stuff from Total Wargamer plenty of times, and decided to use their sister site Mythreal after getting an email from through the Total Wargamer mailing list. I had one successful exchange with them, but I have since ordered Tau stuff and have had absolutely no communication (despite my best efforts) since payment was taken on the 4th of April. I am aware that the Tau stuff would be delayed by two weeks, but was more concerned about the lack of communication rather than the delay of product being sent.

Just a quick couple of links to show that these businesses are operating out of the same place. I was hesitant at first, but after the initial transaction going well I chose to revisit.

Just posting this out to UK gamers that might be tempted to use either of these sites, which I would normally recommend, as there seems to be some kind of problem. If anybody has any information, or are having similar problems feel free to post.

I had a lot of issues with Total Wargamer with my order, too. The other guy on their end, Paul, is a really nice chap, and he tried to troubleshoot the whole thing for me the minute I raised a helpdesk ticket.

My issue got resolved, but it did take over a month. Unfortunately, with this number of issues with my order, it's very unlikely I'll ever order from them again.

You might want to try posting on their Facebook page, Paul and Louise seem to monitor that a lot more closely.
That said, isn't Salute on now? They might be a tad pre-occupied with that at the moment.

I think anything remotely warhammer related they supply really stock and just order after you place yours. I am at over 3 weeks now just for an attack bike. Whereas I ordered a dread ball thing and that arrived in just over a week.

One thing that was pointed out to me, the phone number on their website, is actually to their warehouse, so noone ever answers it cause they're at the other end of the building.

In all honesty, for anything GW just go for Wayland or giftsforgeeks or somewhere else. Total wargamers clearance section is good though.

Took me 6 weeks to get my order from them. I don't think they're specifically in trouble, they're just highly incompetent and terrible at replying to contact.

Course those problems will likely lead to financial problems. I certainly will never use them again.

Facebook seems the best way to contact them

They're really slow, but answers your questions, usually faster on facebook, not a great service, probably the slowest retailer of the entire web, but eventually your goods get delivered

I've sent a message via FB, see if that helps.

14 minutes later and the problem has been solved...

They have been suffering for server issues and have had a backlog of emails to go through, apparently. I really like the Mythreal/Total Wargamer staff, but they need to get a better system when dealing with their orders/communication with their customers.

This is a business that treats it's customers like dirt.

I cancelled a big order with them and I would advise everybody to stay clear.......they didn't even respond to my emails or phone calls.

At the moment I am unsure who to use, so I am using GW direct. I had used Dark Sphere and Rocket Hobbies.

Rocket seems to have gone pop now......sadly

"Warehouse"? That's funny.

There is no warehouse. There is the shop, and there is storage behind the shop. The phone is about halfway between the two ends.

TW is good people, working hard to do their best. If you have an issue with an order and can't resolve out by other means, feel free to PM me. I visit often and will gladly chase up an order status face to face for you.

Sad really but I am in the same boat, GW are the only ones I can rely on to get me my stuff quick.
It seems to be the same no matter which supplier I use but its only with GW items I hve the problem so I would not be surprised if it was problems caused at their end on purpose.

For quick service use element games, if it's in stock you usually get it the next day and they clearly list what is in stock.

Firestorm Games (UK) I have found to be very quick, reliable and free postage over £30.
