Hey there, long time lurker deciding to become part of the community. I've been playing tabletop games since I was a young'un and I'm familiar with a whole mess of systems. Just getting back into 40K now after a long hiatus- my entire army is from 1990 or earlier.

Nice to meet you all!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Thank you all for the welcomes! I'm not really savvy on the current 40K rules having spent much of my time playing Warmachine but I'm over that now.

Welcome to the forum and welcome back to the hobby. Lots of my IG are actually Space Pirates that are also pre 1990 as are my Squats. I am sure lots of Forumites would like to see pics of your collection.

May the dice be with you!

I recently stripped the whole thing. Back when originally painted I was lacking in anything resembling skill. I'm still not amazing or anything but I can now paint them how they looked in that old Space Marine Painting guide. So far I've got 30 odd marines, 5 terminators, a rhino, predator, landspeeded and dreadnought done. Assault squad is next.

Which brings me to a question- my ternimators are on small bases but the local GW manager says rebase them to medium. What's the rule?
