So with so many spells it's hard to remember who has what and what has what casted on what.

I need some ideas for markers, what are you guys using?

I looked at O-Rings but they are very hard to find in any other colour than black.
Mixed colours would be ideal for marking different powers and wounds and so on.

Any suggestions please chaps? Ideally something that won't fall off bases during movement.

Write them down on paper?

Some guy at my FLGS made little tags for what he casted.

I was more thinking something like this -

Coloured hoops that you could place over models.
You could add little tags to them for different spells.
I was hoping to find something like this but a little cheaper and something a little more professional looking than scraps of paper.

if you want to go professional then use a base and put some effects over it to represent a specific spell.

Like if you casted Misfortune, then use a broken gold coin token to represent that.

I don't know really comes down to what extent you want it to go to though.

I have a sheet of all my unit stats in a sheet protector. Before the game I write down warlord traits and psychic powers on that. Since most of what I use is Blessings it's usually obvious what gets what.

If you put magnets in the bottoms of your bases, you could use colored washers, or an extra base, that you stick beneath the mini. A friend of mine uses a similar system to note status effects in D&D.

I use battlemarkers and a small whiteboard. Battlemarkers are awesome looking with good artwork and they are very easy to read/use. Pretty good prices too.

Theres an example of what they look like. Theyve got ones for every army out there. Even stuff for battle fleet gothic and such. But the 40k ones are the ones I buy the most. Definitely made my game better. Helps me to remember those upgrades i took for my big bugs.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in space and flung him into the Warp, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to real-space, and undo the evil that is Chaos!"
