Hello All! I've been looking around for a way to transport my other warhammer armies. I have a deep 3 piece toolbox i use right now but its kind of a pain at times to get the miniatures in and out. I look at the army transport cases every now and then and they are a bit expensive and i still don't really like the foam thing for some armies (lizardmen being a prime example, their tails get stuck).

Here is what i've found so for that I think might work:

http://www.containerstore.com/shop/closet/storageBags?productId=10024282

There is also more if you look up "wrapping paper grey bag"

They look to be similar or better quality bags then army transport uses. There is a couple of options from this point.

1) The foam option:
A) Buy custom cut or standard foam and cut to fit: http://www.caseclub.com/ AND http://www.foam-inserts.com/foam-layered.htm
B) Buy a roll of foam at a craft store or wally world. It comes in big rolls by the pillows, matresses. (I lost my link i'll find it later).

2) The Container option
A) Buy containers to fit (look at container store but i haven't found the exact fit i like except for the underbed lock box with the underbed grey bag.
i) Lay sheet metal on the bottom. You can find thing cheap layers of galvinized metal at home depot by the dryer exhaust vents. I'm not sure what it's for but its only like $7 for a huge sheet.
ii.) Buy Foam to fit as above.

I'll post some pictures as I start working on this. I thought it could be useful to others.
