I am in the process of planning a Feudal Imperial Guard project using alot of the FW Empire bits and auto guns to convert a backworld guard regiment defending a technologically deprived planet. Plan is to use alot of projectile based 40K guns and alot of more feudal gear to represent a planets inability to use higher tech gear (manufacturing problems, atmospheric conditions unsuitable for laser tech etc). One of the first projects after an infantry squad will be a steam powered salamander scout vehicle. But in order to use the gun position ontop of the steamtank I need to know the rough width of the kit by comparison to a chimera. Anyone able to help in this regard or with extra cool Feudal guard ideas feel free to chip in.

If at all possible, I will take a pic of an old SteamTank side-by-side with a Chimera for you tonight.

Heck, I'll even put the Steamtank up on eBay for you.

Comparison pictures would be amazing, I have an incling that the chimera is going to end up much wider than the steam tank making the salamander gunnery position ontop unsuitable, however I really want to convert a steam tank into a feudal guard gunboat.
